A High School Subject Teacher is responsible for teaching specific subjects (such as Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, etc.) to students, helping them understand concepts, and preparing them for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver subject-specific lessons as per the curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and study materials
- Teach and explain concepts using effective teaching methods
- Assess student performance through tests, exams, and assignments
- Provide feedback and support to help students improve
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
- Track student progress and maintain academic records
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events
