A Delivery Associate is responsible for picking up and delivering packages, goods, or food items to customers safely and on time while providing good customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up orders from warehouses, stores, or restaurants
- Deliver packages to customers within the assigned time
- Verify delivery details such as address and contact information
- Collect payments (if required) and provide receipts
- Handle items carefully to avoid damage
- Use navigation tools (GPS/maps) to find delivery locations
- Maintain delivery records and update status in the system/app
- Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines
- Report delays, issues, or customer concerns to supervisors
