A Counter Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, handling transactions, and ensuring a smooth and positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Handle billing, cash, and digital payments accurately
- Maintain product displays and keep the counter area clean
- Answer customer queries about products, prices, and offers
- Manage stock at the counter and inform about low inventory
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policy
- Coordinate with store staff for smooth operations
- Maintain daily sales records and reports
Required Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and billing knowledge

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge
Qualifications:
- Minimum: 10th/12th pass or equivalent
- Prior retail or sales experience is an advantage
